Mexican Theatre on Tour in Denmark. The group has just arrived from the Theatre Festival in Cadiz in Spain.
The title has an interesting play on words in Spanish. Sufrir means to suffer or feel pain, but also to endure. The ending -a indicates femininum. The play is made by the Mexican Actress Ofelia Medina and celebrates the 100 years anniversary of Frida Kahlo through magic realism, dance and music.

Jeg er blevet mere og mere træt af betegnelsen Afrika. Ikke alene er det en stærkt generaliserende betegnelse for et stort geografisk område, men anvendelsen af Afrika virker også stigmatiserende. Måske burde vi derfor tænke os mere om, når vi bruger ordet. The notion of Africa is getting more and more on my nerves. I have just finished reading the novel "Il faut beaucoup aimer les hommes" (One must care much for men) written by Marie Darrieussecq. Et brev om privilegium

    "Privilege is an Aggressive form of Amnesia”   I denne tid opstår ny information om verden. Jeg modtager det direkte i mit feed om morgenen. Det betyder ikke at verden forandrer sig, men jeg får nye venner, og de, jeg allerede havde viser nye sider af sig selv. Mest gode sider.   En af de mange morgener møder jeg Elisa Gonzalez, som ved meget om polsk poesi, selvom hun er inkarneret NewYork’er og har sine rødder i Las Americas.   Hun taler om en polsk digter som jeg ikke kender og hvis navn jeg allerede har glemt om end det minder mig om en polsk humanist jeg engang arbejdede sammen med.
